My name is Vladimir Urban. I am a fully qualified existential psychotherapist registered with the UKCP.
I provide safe and confidential environment in which I will attempt to be with you as attentively and non-judgementally as I can. I believe this can create space for you to find clarity, reach better understanding of your experience, increase your self- awareness and make changes in your life.
I see therapy as a collaborative process in which you discover your own answers with my help. The collaborative process works best when I am able to establish a relationship with my clients that can take them out of the repetitive patterns of relating to others and to themselves. Once you are able to ‘be’ in a different way in therapy, you are likely to ‘be’ in a different way in the world.
I trained for five years at Regent's University London, completing the Postgraduate Diploma and the Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy and Counselling. Before my training as a therapist I worked for 10 years with people with mental health issues and learning difficulties. I also work for a bereavement counselling service in London.
I offer one-to-one weekly sessions, both short term and long term. Each session lasts for 50 minutes and I charge £50 per session.
