City Road Therapy – Professional face-to-face & online Therapy in London

Ajax Scott

I offer a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can explore what is going on in your life and where you can get different perspectives so you can start to make the changes you want. This is an opportunity for you to be heard and understood, especially when discussing experiences that you might find it hard to share elsewhere.

Integrative psychotherapy with Ajax

I am an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist who works with individuals to help them live their lives differently. This might involve exploring how to make relatively simple changes to how you approach the day-to-day. Or mean a more complex exploration of something that is impacting you such as a relationship crisis or deep-rooted trauma.

My orientation is integrative, which means that I have been trained to create my own approach by drawing on a number of other schools of therapy. In particular, I am influenced by psychodynamic, relational, humanistic and body psychotherapy. What this means is that I don’t have a single off-the-shelf approach that I apply to every person I work with. Instead, we will work together to identify the areas you want to explore and how best to approach them. Underpinning all the work is the working relationship we establish together.

Working with me can potentially help you:

  • Feel more comfortable in your own skin, making choices for yourself rather than to keep others happy
  • Overcome the impact of a traumatic event
  • Feel more connected to other people, developing deeper relationships
  • Live in the present, rather than being burdened by thoughts of the past or the future
  • Overcome addictive behaviour
  • Find a new balance between different parts of your life, successfully navigating life transitions
  • Gain a greater understanding of who you are and what makes you tick.

Qualifications and experience

I hold a Masters Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Minster Centre, accredited by Middlesex University.

As well as working in private practice, I have also previously worked for Transport for London’s in-house Counselling and Trauma Service, a leading primary care trust within the NHS in central London, and London Metropolitan University’s student counselling service. I am accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and bound by its code of ethics.

I charge a sliding scale of £60-£90 depending on a client’s circumstances.
