I am a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with more than 15 years experience working with adults and children. I offer you a safe and non-judgmental space to explore difficult feelings and find your voice, enabling you to move on from the past and feel happier in the present. Here you can experiment and play, discovering your creative potential. Here you can work through past trauma and bring any worries you may have about yourself, your family, your relationships, your work, and your future.
Art psychotherapy with Eva
People who come to see me often feel lost or stuck. Whilst they might be able to talk about the problems in their lives, they find it difficult to connect to their feelings and thus struggle to bring about lasting change. My approach is truly integrative, unique in its ability to combine talking with art making, thinking with doing, mind with body. This allows you to express feelings beyond words, bringing forth hidden depths and insight, boosting self-esteem and agency.
I bring compassion, thoughtfulness, and cultural sensitivity to every therapeutic encounter. You do not need to be artistic to be able to enjoy this process of self-discovery and there is no pressure to engage in any art making. I know it takes real courage to ask for help. If you feel recognised in anything you have read, you are most welcome to reach out to me to arrange a free 20-minute phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.
