Gemma Latimer

I am a creative and holistic UKCP psychotherapist and counsellor. This means I often work with people to raise awareness of the connection between their mind and body to understand themselves better. Offering a safe and supportive space to see limiting patterns and process unfinished business, I help others to live more satisfying versions of themselves.

Psychotherapy and counselling with Gemma

I am a Gestalt psychotherapist, which offers a creative and holistic approach. By focusing on the present moment, this offers a unique opportunity to understand, deconstruct what is no longer serving you and break cycle of repetitive and unhelpful patterns. As a Gestalt therapist, I will work collaboratively with you as a shared exploration. With a background in the arts as an illustrator, I have a particular interest in working creatively and experientially, bringing experiences to life tangibly in the room together.

I support others to reconnect with their bodies, to slow down and experience the immediacy of the moment and the richness that brings. By tuning into the sensations of our bodies, we can more fully understand the depth of our experience. By reconnecting mind and body, we can begin to live with greater support and capacity to navigate our daily lives.

Qualifications and trainings

I am a UKCP professionally qualified psychotherapist and counsellor. I am also a BACP member. I trained at Metanoia Institute in Gestalt Psychotherapy and abide by UKCP, BACP and Metanoia Institutes code of ethics.
