City Road Therapy – Professional face-to-face & online Therapy in London

John Graham

I am an integrative counsellor, and I am registered with the BACP. I provide an empathic, supportive space where you can feel safe to open up and feel seen and heard for who you are.

I understand the pressures people can put upon themselves, which are unhelpful and can lead to damaging coping strategies. I will work with you to identify healthier ways of managing anxiety, low self-esteem and further underlying issues. I feel passionate in the potential of therapy to support you through difficult times in your life.

Integrative counselling with John

I have an integrative approach, meaning that I draw on several ways of working according to what a client’s needs might be.

We will work together to identify patterns of behaviour and thoughts that may be causing difficulties in your life. By looking at these patterns and the experiences that underlie them, we can work to make changes that will lead to better psychological health and well-being.

I am also trained in hypnotherapy and can offer that alongside therapy when appropriate, if you think it may be useful in our work together.

I offer face-to-face counselling on Mondays: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturdays: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM, however for clients in the UK and abroad, I also provide online counselling services available at various days and times throughout the week, ensuring support is accessible no matter where you are.

I have experience working in a variety of settings, including within the NHS. Working with a diverse group of people has given me a deeper understanding of cultural differences and I have strong empathy and respect for different viewpoints. My experience has given me the ability to connect and successfully support people from a wide range of backgrounds.

For fellow counsellors, fostering professional growth and development, I offer relational seven-eyed supervision. My professional journey has unfolded across diverse settings, with a significant focus on contributing to healthcare through service within the NHS. Currently, I am facilitating group supervision for multiple cohorts, collaborating with both the NHS and MIND, as well as for individuals. This ongoing commitment reflects my dedication to fostering growth, resilience, and professional development within these vital healthcare and mental health contexts.
