    Agi Townley

Thank you for visiting my profile. I appreciate that reaching out for help is a big step and can come with a sense of uncertainty and even anxiety. When life becomes challenging and overwhelming or things that we thought had been laid to rest resurface , seeking therapy in a confiding and compassionate space can be a great source of support and provide much needed arena to share your thoughts and feelings as a way of finding inner peace and greater resolve to move forward with your life in a more satisfying way.

I am a UKCP accredited integrative psychotherapist with extensive experience in assisting individual clients with issues associated with anxiety, depression, relationships, work related problems and redundancy, insecurity and low self esteem, sex, sexuality, gender, stress, abuse, anger, trauma, bereavement, addictions, eating disorders, cultural and family problems amongst others.

    Integrative therapy with Agi

My particular model of integration is based on a relational-developmental model, working on the premise that our childhood experiences affect how we are today, our relationships, our worldview and the strategies we use to survive.

In therapy we will talk about your feelings in your current circumstances aiming to identify and improve your ways of coping. I will discuss with you the various options that may be made to enable you to find greater clarity in making your own choices. Therapy provides an opportunity for us to reflect on how you are living your life, who you are, what you do and what you feel in the present and how this might be related to your past experiences. A better understanding of yourself and how you are in relationships may bring the possibility of lasting change.
