I’m an integrative psychotherapist and I work with adults and adolescents, offering short and long-term individual therapy. I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can feel free to talk about your concerns without fear of judgment.
As a therapist, I’ve worked in the NHS, in charities and in private practice, so I’m experienced in dealing with a wide range of psychological issues. I have also worked in management and teaching, so I am familiar with workplace issues and conflict resolution.
Integrative psychotherapy with Andreas
As an integrative psychotherapist, I have trained in various therapeutic models including person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic therapy, which I draw upon depending on the client’s needs. I describe my way of working as relational because there is an emphasis on the relationship between the client and therapist, which I believe is the most important factor in therapy.
The stronger the relationship, the easier it is for you to explore and process difficult thoughts and emotions, so you can make more sense of your current problems. With greater self-awareness, you can change how you respond to your difficulties and build better coping mechanisms. I welcome feedback on our sessions, so we can find which ways of working are best for you.
