I am an experienced psychotherapist and group analyst who is an empathic listener. I provide a safe space where we can work together to explore your thoughts, feelings and actions.
Psychodynamic and dynamic interpersonal therapy with Sarah
I draw on both a psychodynamic and attachment-based training to identify patterns of behaviour that make you feel stuck. By working together in a professional but personal relationship, I can help you discover how such patterns are still active and causing conflict in adult relationships. As you get to know yourself better, you can work on how to make adjustments to bring about change. These may take the form of new or improved relationship, a confirmation of sexual identity, life goals, an acceptance of loss. Or it may help you make a major transition in your life, like leaving home, becoming a partner or parent, retiring or changing work, ageing.
You may be facing a pressing change in your life with which you want immediate help. As a qualified Dynamic Interpersonal Therapist, I offer a 16-week treatment model with a focus on identifying and then working to change a core pattern in the way you relate.
