I am a warm, empathetic and compassionate integrative BACP registered therapist.
I have over 10 years’ experience working with communities and adults of diverse backgrounds. I have worked in the field of mental health for many years for educational and wellbeing charities supporting adults and children to overcome their problems. I work with adults, teenagers and children aged from 9 years upwards.
Intercultural counselling with Zekiye
Counselling is your opportunity to explore whatever is important to you. During our time together, you are the focus of our sessions and can choose to bring whatever is concerning you. Therapy can benefit anyone regardless of ethnicity, beliefs or language competence.
As an intercultural counsellor I have been trained to work with several therapeutic approaches including integrative, psychodynamic, person-centred and mindfulness which I will utilise depending on an individuals needs. But mainly I will listen to you in a safe and non-judgemental space and we will work together to understand your situation more clearly, and with a strong awareness of your diversity, to work through your life difficulties.

Masters in Pedagogy, Goettinger University in Germany
