We’ve thought about it
City Road Therapy was created by therapists for therapists. Rob and Ellie, who continue to practice here, understand the value of providing a calm, secure environment for therapists and clients.
Kate Roberts, our centre manager, is friendly, responsive and highly organised and ensures the centre runs smoothly.
We offer a convivial space for therapists who want to base their practice away from home. You can join us for one of our quarterly trips to the pub, opt for a chat between clients in the kitchen or you can say no to all of that and just rent a room.
Comfortable therapy rooms
Based just two minutes from Angel tube, Islington London, in a tall Georgian townhouse, our eleven light, tastefully furnished rooms are perfect for all types of therapists (including arts, drama and hypnotherapists) who work with individuals, couples, families and small groups.
In response to the pandemic we have created a Covid-safe space for therapists to work with clients in person and we have great wifi for therapists who want to see clients online.
The rooms have intercom phones so clients can be buzzed in. We don’t have a waiting room.
Great value, no deposits and fair notice terms
We rent half day blocks six days a week. Ad hoc space is peppered throughout the week for those who rent at least one block and on Sunday’s our space can be rented for ad hoc sessions or for training days. There is the option for ad hoc only but this only applies to weekends.
Our rates are fair and competitive starting at £39 for an AM half day and £60.50 for a PM half day. All ad hocs are £14.50 per 50 minute session. We offer great starter rates on our AM and weekend blocks.
We don’t ask for hefty deposits and we don’t tie you into long contracts.

I highly recommend working from here- a great, central location that’s really popular with therapy clients, easily accessed from Angel station. The rooms are all light and airy, and have character, and are a range of sizes. The practice is extremely well run by Ellie, Rob and Kate and there’s a great sense of community among the therapists.
